St. Patrick's Day is a fun holiday for kids and adults alike, even if you're not Irish. Who doesn't love an excuse to wear a little green for the day (especially knowing the consequence of not wearing green is a pinch!)? When the kids are home from school, or it's after dinner and mom and dad have been able to unwind from the day, St. Patrick's Day is the perfect excuse to get the family together for some fun evening activities. Check out our recommendations for kid-friendly St. Patrick's Day activities the entire family is sure to enjoy:
1. Play a fun game after dinner. We love Hot Potato or a Pot O' Gold treasure hunt to find the "gold" (gold chocolate coins) in the house!
2. Get out the paper, scissors, and glue, and make a craft with the kids. Our favorite craft is creating Shamrock Men- and it doesn't require many art supplies, either!
3. The best part about any traditional holiday, of course, are the festive sweets that come with it. There's no doubt that kids will love baking (and eating!) the Taste a Rainbow cupcakes. These cupcakes are the perfect treat for an early-spring afternoon!
4. Lastly, check out our ultra-green Shamrock Sale at WinterKids.com. We've got everything green on sale, so you can pick up your favorite green items for the kids' outfits next winter!
