Fall...It's finally here! You know what that means? (Sucks in a deep breath of air)...Apple-picking, candy apples, apple cider, pumpkin-picking, pumpkin pies, jack-o-lanterns, candy corn, corn mazes, cornucopias, and of course, HALLOWEEN!
Halloween is one of my favorite times of the year. There’s something about the time of year that makes me smile and feel wildly giddy inside: the colder weather (Keystone Ski Resort is predicted to open on Halloween!), the over-abundance of candy, scary movies, and the adorable kiddos dressed in Halloween costumes.
I love finding an excuse to dress myself (and the dogs) up in whatever clever costume I can find – the scarier, the better! My favorite costume I've ever worn was when I dressed as zombie Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz and even carried around a little stuffed zombie Toto dog. My husband went as the wicked scarecrow.
Here at WinterKids we love fall--but winter is still our absolute favorite. Since we’ve got Halloween on the brain, we have put together suggestions for fun, snow and winter-inspired costumes that will undeniably get you in the Halloween spirit!
Olaf
Who doesn’t love the comical snowman from Frozen? Snow Globe

The shimmering magic of snow is always fascinating, whether it's outside your window or inside this classic toy. Snowy Owl
Snowy Owls are very regal creatures. They are born with black plumage marking their otherwise ghostly appearance, and then grow whiter as they age. Yeti
A yeti, or the abdominal snowman, is a great idea for a costume because it is scary to look at, yet extremely one of a kind. There are very few chances that you will find another child dressed up as a yeti. A yeti costume is made up of a body suit created from faux fur, and includes a ferocious face mask with furry hands and large feet (think Bigfoot costume!). Put a unique spin on your kid’s yeti costume by adding a pair of plastic skis and a beanie and turning it into a costume of our favorite yeti, Zemu!
