Every year around this time we all check out new gear and prioritize our winter season wish lists. The introduction of new technologies, patters, colors, and styles, can make it very challenging to narrow down your Winter’s Most Wanted. With the largest shopping day of the year fast approaching, we thought it would be helpful to share what we have been finding on a lot of our customer’s wish lists this season.
I. Krazy for Kismet.
Obermeyer’s incredible attention to detail is what makes this years Kismet Jacket so special. This jacket is adorned with adorable accent buttons, the signature Obermeyer compass, fleece-lined cuffs, hand-warmer pockets, collar, and chin protector. With five different colors to choose from, she is sure to find a favorite that suits her personality. Luckily, for the little ones growing up way too fast, this jacket also has the I-Grow feature, so the sleeves extend an additional 1.5 inches. Trust us, it will be present enough seeing your little one in this adorable jacket with the matching Bouquet Fleece Hat.
II. Stoked for Snaggleface.
Shredders everywhere have been super stoked about the arrival of the new season Snaggleface gear from 686. Feel totally fun wearing anything in this collection, with the Snaggletooth graphics and brilliant, bright colors. What we like most about the Snaggletooth collection is the idea behind the character. He was created to encourage everyone to embrace the unique parts of their personality. It’s okay to stand out in the crowd, which is easy to do in this jacket that certainly stands out on our winter wish lists.
III. Loving the Lola.
SPYDER introduced some incredible colors and patterns into their youth collections this year. One particular jacket that we can’t seem to keep is the Girl’s Lola Jacket in Gypsy Fade Away. It has three of their most popular colors in one pretty, funky pattern: coast, diva pink, and gypsy. Everyone seems to also adore the extra stylish removable faux fur hood. Love the Lola on the slopes, on your way to school, or just out and about on cold winter days. The Lola jacket is also available in the SPYDER Bitsy collection, so even the really little ones can stay warm, sassy and stylish.
IV. Amped for the Ace.
Volcom put a great deal of thought into the design of their Ace Insulated Jacket. The eye catching colors, alongside the stripe patterning, make for a very unique piece that will no doubt showcase your personality on the slopes. One of our favorite jacket details: the signature Volcom stone shaped pocket on the front of the jacket. Another favorite feature of the Ace is the internal head phone routing which allows for all day snow jams. For the perfect holiday gift, pair this jacket with Volcom pants, which are zip in compatible with Volcom’s Zip Tech®.
V. Wowed by The White Collection.
This season give the gift of art, inspiration, and warmth with a jacket from Burton’s White Collection (TWC). It is totally inspired by two-time Olympic gold medalist, Shaun White. The Warm and Friendly jacket has 200 grams of strategically mapped Thermacore Insulation to give him ultimate warmth with minimal bulk, and the Shaun White seal of approval for an extra boost of confidence. In addition to the rider driven technical features, the Black Diamond Watercolor print is outerwear artwork.
VI. Diggin' the Denalis.
The North Face Denali Fleece Jacket is super a cozy, durable and versatile fleece ideal for all year, everyday use. We find this at the top of our winter wish lists year after year. They make excellent winter girls for both girls and boys, with several colors to choose from.
